On this regenerative farm in a small tucked away valley, there are currently 10 thousand willow plants. These include over 50 different heritage varities from Europe alongside native and wild willows being collected and cultivated. The willow grown here is ideal for use in basketry, living structures, land remediation, floristry, and bark harvesting.

Willow is cut annually, made into cuttings for planting, or dried and sorted for use in basket making.

Classes in how to grow willow are offered annually and in the future basketry classes will be held at the farm in a beautiful outdoor pavilion.

Each year many travel to Willowbrook to help in the annual harvest and learn how tend to the willows for use in basketry. If you would like to know more about what happens at the farm please sign up for our newsletter.
