Willowbrook Farm

Cultivated heritage willow for basketry

Dive into the world of Willow Basketry

Willowbrook Basket Farm

Sandra is a basket weaver, teacher and willow farmer based in New Jersey and New York. She studies the craft of basket making across mediums, but works primarily with sustainably farmed willow and wild foraged willow bark.

She teaches a variety of basketry classes around the USA in select arts and craft schools. Offerings in weekly semester based classes, and weekend workshop experiences.

Sandra started Willowbrook Basket Farm on land she purchased in the Mohawk Valley region of New York State. On this regenerative farm, cultivated heritage willow is grown and harvested, and wild willow is collected and striped for bark.

A member of the National Basketry Organization (NBO), Basketmakers Association, and the Northeast Basketmakers Guild.
